Working Together for Team Spirit and Respect: Bream Immobilien Supports the Margot-Friedländer-Gymnasium Soccer Team

As a real estate company with close ties to Berlin-Kladow, we care not only about where people live, but also about what makes our neighborhood a great place to live. This includes, in particular, schools, clubs, and initiatives that foster a sense of community and offer young people opportunities for growth.

That’s why we were delighted to help the soccer team of what was then the Hans-Carossa-Gymnasium in Kladow purchase new jerseys.

New Jerseys for the Team from Kladow

On July 6, 2026, the new jerseys were worn for the first time. A soccer game was held at the end of the school year, during which the team was able to showcase their new uniforms.

For us, supporting a school team aligns particularly well with the values that matter in sports as well: team spirit, fairness, mutual respect, and camaraderie. These are values that extend far beyond the soccer field.

The Hans-Carossa-Gymnasium Becomes the Margot-Friedländer-Gymnasium

The summer of 2026 also marks the beginning of a new chapter for the school. As of August 1, 2026, the former Hans-Carossa-Gymnasium has been renamed the Margot-Friedländer-Gymnasium.

The renaming had previously been initiated by the school community. After an in-depth examination of the biography of the school’s former namesake, Hans Carossa, the school conference unanimously chose Margot Friedländer as the new namesake. The Spandau District Office approved the renaming for the 2026–27 school year.

Margot Friedländer’s life story and her decades-long commitment stand for remembrance, humanity, and respectful coexistence. As a Holocaust survivor, she was particularly committed—especially in her interactions with young people—to encouraging them to take responsibility and to stand up against exclusion, antisemitism, and misanthropy.

The motto #AgainstHateandIncitement, which is central to the renaming celebrations, also clearly expresses this stance.

Commitment to Our Neighborhood

Anyone who lives and works in Kladow knows that the neighborhood’s exceptional quality of life isn’t just due to its location, its proximity to the Havel River, or its many green spaces. It stems above all from the people who get involved here and help build a sense of community.

As a company with strong local ties, we therefore want to provide support wherever people come together, take responsibility for one another, and—in particular—help children and young people thrive.

We wish the Margot-Friedländer-Gymnasium soccer team many successful games in their new jerseys and the entire school community all the best as they embark on this new chapter under their new name.
